Aptech gains as its education brand Arena creates country’s first 3D ad film

Aptech is currently trading at Rs. 71.95, up by 2.00 points or 2.86% from its previous closing of Rs. 69.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 70.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 73.00 and Rs. 69.20 respectively. So far 97,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 147.90 on 29-Jul-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs. 64.00 on 09-May-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 73.60 and Rs. 69.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 351.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 35.79% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.40% and 55.78% respectively.

Aptech’s education brand Arena Multimedia, has formed the first 3D commercial advertisements to become ‘future ready’. Arena has tied up with Mumbai based company - Magic Tree, to covert its ad from 2D to 3D. It is planning to release this new ad in multiplexes during forthcoming 3D movie shows.

These new advertisements are for any 3D device that includes television and mobile phones but for the moment it will be the 3D theatres where the ad will be released. The ad is nicknamed as ‘Dudolls’, which shows animated characters created by its students who achieve in getting appointment letters through their work.
