Future Retail has received an approval for the Scheme of Arrangement between Hypercity Retail (India) (HRIL) and itself and their respective Shareholders. The Scheme inter-alia provides for the demerger of Retail Business Undertaking of HRIL into the Company and for reorganisation and reclassification of balance lying in the Capital Reserve Account into Securities Premium Account of the Company. The Board of Directors of the company at their meeting held on December 06, 2017, considered and approved the same.
Future Retail offers food and grocery categories, fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and poultry, dairy products, staples, FMCG and processed foods, electronics and appliances, clothing and footwear, furniture and furnishing, and other household articles.
