India Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has executed transfer documents for transferring Hotel Jaipur Ashok to the Rajasthan government at a negotiated price of Rs 14 crore.
Earlier, the company had executed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Ministry of Tourism and State Government of Rajasthan on September 5, 2017, for transfer of Hotel Jaipur Ashok to State Government of Rajasthan at a negotiated value of Rs 14 crore without any liabilities and encumbrances.
ITDC has been the prime mover in the progressive development, promotion and expansion of tourism in the country. The company is running hotels, restaurants at various places for tourists, besides providing transport facilities.
