Kalpataru Power advances on bagging new orders worth Rs 875 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 460.00, up by 20.90 points or 4.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 439.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 449.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 461.35 and Rs. 449.00 respectively. So far 1,348 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 473.60 on 27-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 221.00 on 23-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 461.35 and Rs. 430.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7,066.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 25.16% and 15.52% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission (KPTL) has secured new orders / notification of award of Rs 875 crore. The company has bagged two orders totaling Rs 278 crore for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in India. Besides, the other three orders totaling Rs 597 crore is for design, supply and construction of transmission lines in Afghanistan, Ivory Coast and Bangladesh.
