Sarla Performance Fibre has temporarily shut down the manufacturing operations of its wholly owned subsidiary, Sarlaflex, (USA) due to low capacity utilization. During the closure period various annual maintenance and inspection activities shall be carried out. The company is working on various options for its US subsidiary to make it profitable which includes entering into partnership/strategic alliance.
Sarla Performance Fibres is a 100% Export Oriented Unit (EOU) manufacturing polyester, polyamide (nylon) texturised yarns & conventional/air covered Lycra/Spandex yarns. The product range of the company includes Polyester Textured Yarn, Polyamide 6 and 66 yarn (Nylon), Polyester Sewing Thread, Covered Yarn and High Tenacity yarn. The company also engaged in the business of Yarn, Generation of Wind Power.
