Essel Propack gains on planning to raise Rs 50 crore through NCDs

Essel Propack is currently trading at Rs. 283.00, up by 1.65 points or 0.59% from its previous closing of Rs. 281.35 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 285.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 285.05 and Rs. 280.00 respectively. So far 6837 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 317.00 on 20-Nov-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 226.00 on 23-Feb-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 296.90 and Rs. 266.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4402.69 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 57.17%, while institutions and non-institutions held 19.79% and 23.05% respectively.

Essel Propack is planning to consider and approve the allotment of Unsecured Rated Redeemable Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs) for Rs 50 crore, being issued by way of private placement pursuant to the approval of the board of directors and members of the company. The NCDs are proposed to be listed with BSE. The Committee of Directors of the company is scheduled to meet on December 21, 2017 to consider and approve the same.

Essel Propack is a producer of plastic packaging material in the form of multilayer collapsible tubes and laminates used primarily for packaging of toothpaste, personal care, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, household and industrial products.
