Gayatri Projects advances with JV bagging order worth Rs 1,339 crore

Gayatri Projects is currently trading at Rs. 218.70, up by 3.95 points or 1.84% from its previous closing of Rs. 214.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 216.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 221.00 and Rs. 213.85 respectively. So far 26,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 221.00 on 21-Dec-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 119.99 on 26-Dec-2016.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 221.00 and Rs. 199.65 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3,865.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 47.48%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 39.67% and 12.85% respectively.

Gayatri Projects has secured Rs 1339 crore contract in joint venture with Public Joint Stock Company Kyivmetrobud i.e Gayatri-KMB (JV), from National Highways Authority of India.

This project is to be executed under the EPC model, which is in line with the management's decision to follow an asset-light model and reinforces Gayatri's position as one of the leading highway builders in the country. It is also the company's first project in the state of J&K, and it now takes Gayatri's presence to 15 States of India.

Gayatri Projects is a Hyderabad-based infrastructure and construction company with a presence across the segment, primarily undertaking road and irrigation projects.
