Steel Strips Wheels (SSWL) has bagged a new exports order from Egypt for its Truck wheels plant in Chennai. Total order size is 32,000 wheels to be dispatched from its new Truck wheels plant in Chennai from January, 2018 onwards.
Order value of this export order is $ 2.15 million. This order strengthens SSWL'S presence in high potential Truck & Trailer segment. SSWL is also in touch with other large trailer makers in EU & USA and expects to get more orders in this segment in near future.
SSWL is a part of the Steel Strips Group, headquartered in Chandigarh. It is engaged in the manufacturing of single piece steel wheel rims in the range of 10 to 30 inches for scooters, passenger cars, utility vehicles and tractors.
