Somany Ceramics gains on issuing Commercial Paper worth Rs 35 crore

Somany Ceramics is currently trading at Rs. 947.20, up by 4.65 points or 0.49% from its previous closing of Rs. 942.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 937.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 968.55 and Rs. 937.65 respectively. So far 453 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 973.80 on 05-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 472.00 on 10-Jan-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 973.80 and Rs. 900.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4054.65 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.53%, while institutions and non-institutions held 25.70% and 22.77% respectively.

Somany Ceramics has issued Commercial Paper of Rs 35.00 crore value dated January 5, 2018 having maturity on March 15, 2018.  The aforesaid issuance of commercial papers is to reduce high interest bearing cash credit limits and in turn reducing cost of borrowing.
