IndusInd Bank slides despite reporting 25% rise in Q3 net profit

IndusInd Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1688.00, down by 46.75 points or 2.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 1734.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1740.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1750.00 and Rs. 1690.55 respectively. So far 110395 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1818.00 on 12-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1186.05 on 11-Jan-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1750.00 and Rs. 1647.45 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 103276.37 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 16.77%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 62.36% and 20.87% respectively.

IndusInd Bank has reported 24.73% rise in its net profit at Rs 936.25 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2017 as compared to Rs 750.64 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank increased by 16.06% at Rs 5473.54 crore for Q3FY18 as compared Rs 4716.13 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal increased to 1.16%, as compared to 0.94% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 0.46% in Q3FY18.
