Tata Power’s TPDDL unveils WhatsApp service to report power theft

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi has made it easier to report incidents of power theft with its dedicated WhatsApp service. People can now report incidents of power theft by sharing the details through their phone’s WhatsApp messaging service on the company’s no.

The benefit of having WhatsApp is that people can also share photographs and videos of the incident as a proof along with the location and that too instantly. In addition to the WhatsApp service, people can report power theft on social media channels like Twitter and Facebook on a real-time basis.
