Bank of Baroda surges on tying-up with Invoicemart

Bank of Baroda is currently trading at Rs. 158.30, up by 1.30 points or 0.83% from its previous closing of Rs. 157.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 157.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 159.00 and Rs. 154.60 respectively. So far 268646 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 206.60 on 26-Oct-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 133.60 on 23-Oct-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 166.60 and Rs. 154.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 36175.31 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 58.70%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 32.96% and 8.34% respectively.

Bank of Baroda has tied-up with digital invoice discounting marketplace - Invoicemart to discount invoices for MSMEs. The buyers and sellers registered on the marketplace will now be able to access funding from the bank. Invoicemart is a joint venture between Axis Bank and mjunction services.

Bank of Baroda is engaged in providing various services, such as personal banking, corporate banking, international banking, small and medium enterprise (SME) banking, rural banking, non-resident Indian (NRI) services and treasury services.
