HDFC Bank trades with traction on the bourses

HDFC Bank is currently trading at Rs. 1943.40, up by 52.30 points or 2.77% from its previous closing of Rs. 1891.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1920.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1953.75 and Rs. 1918.55 respectively. So far 139623 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1953.75 on 18-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1231.20 on 20-Jan-2017.

HDFC Bank’s market capitalisation (market-cap) has reportedly crossed Rs 5 trillion for the first time ever after the share price of the bank hit a new high on January 18, 2018. The country’s private sector lender becoming the third firm after Reliance Industries (RIL) and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) to achieve this milestone.
