Genus Paper touches roof on leasing manufacturing facility for production of Kraft Paper

Genus Paper & Boards is locked at upper circuit limit at Rs. 14.74, up by 0.70 points or 4.99% from its previous closing of Rs. 14.04 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 14.74 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 14.74 and Rs. 14.74 respectively. So far 14,000 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 15.34 on 16-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 4.16 on 05-Jul-2017.

Genus Paper & Boards has taken on lease a Kraft paper manufacturing facility for 5 years with effect from January 22, 2018. The facility is located at Kashipur, Uttarakhand and has manufacturing capacity of 75,000 metric tonnes per annum (MTPA). It is an operational plant and the leasing would help to start production on immediate basis and cater to the demand of existing clients of the company.

Genus Paper & Boards is engaged in manufacturing of Multi-layer Kraft Paper & Mild Steel Ingot. Kraft Paper is classified as industrial paper and is used by packaging industry in making corrugated boxes and liners, corrugated sacks and composite containers.
