Vijaya Bank’s Q3 net tumbles 65%

Vijaya Bank has reported results for third quarter ended December 31, 2017.

The Bank has reported 65.45% fall in its net profit at Rs 79.56 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 230.28 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the Bank decreased by 7.10% at Rs 3450.81 crore for Q3FY18 as compared Rs 3714.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the October-December quarter of the current fiscal improved to 6.17%, as compared to 6.98% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.99% in Q3FY18.
