Infrastructure stocks edge higher after Finance Minister Arun Jaitley proposes extra budgetary expenditure of Rs 5.94 lakh crore on infrastructure and confident of completing 9000 kms national highways by 2018-19.

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1451.70, up by 35.10 points or 2.48% from its previous closing of Rs. 1416.60 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 1455.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1469.60 and Rs. 1447.00 respectively. So far 457017 shares were traded on the counter.

Shriram EPC is currently trading at Rs. 29.50, up by 0.35 points or 1.20% from its previous closing of Rs. 29.15 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs. 29.30 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 30.20 and Rs. 28.60 respectively. So far 28517 shares were traded on the counter.
