Bajaj Auto has registered a jump of 46% in total sales to 3,53,147 units in January 2018 against 2,41,917 units in January 2017. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 1,50,954 units, a gain of 41% as compared to 1,06,729 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
The sales of the motorcycles increased by 36% and stood at 2,88,936 units in the month under review against 2,11,824 units in January 2017. The company has reported 113% jump in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 64,211 units as compared to 30,093 units in month of January 2017.
Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
