Apollo Tyres rises on getting nod to acquire shareholding in KT Telematic Solutions

Apollo Tyres is currently trading at Rs. 277.30, up by 2.35 points or 0.85% from its previous closing of Rs. 274.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 277.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 279.90 and Rs. 276.35 respectively. So far 44528 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 288.80 on 10-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 171.60 on 16-Feb-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 279.90 and Rs. 247.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15874.39 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.43%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 46.31% and 14.26% respectively.

Apollo Tyres has received an approval to acquire shareholding in KT Telematic Solutions. The Committee of Directors - Investments at their meeting held on February 13, 2018 approved the same.

KT Telematic Solutions is engaged in the business of fleet management solutions, providing telematic analytics for truck and bus, with the aim to help its fleet customers to manage their fleets efficiently.
