Torrent Power has participated in the competitive bidding and the e-Reverse Auction process held on February 13, 2018 by SECI (Tranche III) for setting-up of 2,000 MW ISTS-connected wind power projects and emerged as a winner in the auction, for the quantum of 499.8 MW.
The said capacity will be developed in the state of Gujarat. The project has a schedule of commissioning within 18 months from the effective date of the PPA, as specified by SECI.
