Tata Power to raise up to Rs 3,500 crore through NCDs

Tata Power has received an approval to raise funds up to Rs 3,500 crore through Non Convertible Debentures (NCDs). The board of directors at its meeting held on February 14, 2018 has approved for the same.

The board approved issuance in one or more tranches, of non-cumulative, redeemable, taxable, listed, rated securities in the form of NCDs on private placement basis to eligible investors permitted to invest in the NCDs under applicable laws.

Tata Power is India’s largest integrated power company with a growing international presence. The company together with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities has presence in all the segments of the power sector viz. Fuel Security and Logistics, Generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), Transmission, Distribution and Trading.
