Akzo Nobel inaugurated its Powder Coatings facility in Indian market, with an investment of Rs 650 million, located in Thane, Mumbai. This is Akzo Nobel’s sixth facility in India.
Powder Coatings will strengthen the manufacturing footprint in the country. With this plant the company intends to increase capacity in the region. The new facility will complement Akzo Nobel's existing plant in Bangalore, adding new product lines in bonded metallic powder and pipe and re-bar coatings.
Akzo Nobel is engaged in manufacturing and marketing of paints, speciality chemicals and adhesives and is the largest global manufacturer of powder coatings and a world leader in powder coatings technology.
