CMI soars with arm bagging order for supply of HV Cables

CMI is currently trading at Rs. 252.90, up by 3.80 points or 1.53% from its previous closing of Rs. 249.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 247.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 255.20 and Rs. 245.00 respectively. So far 2914 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 308.00 on 15-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 161.10 on 31-Mar-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 274.95 and Rs. 245.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 378.84 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 43.55%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 13.79% and 42.66% respectively.

CMI’s wholly owned subsidiary-- CMI Energy India has bagged an initial order from Engineers India (EIL) for the supply of HV Cables in different sizes and quantities. This is for the first time CMI Energy has bagged order from EIL, and has entered into the business of High Voltage Cable business with them. With this order, CMI energy has formed an association with EIL, Delhi as a vendor, which opens up enormous business opportunities in the future with them and their clients in a big way.

CMI is a supplier of cable accessories, cables, conductor cables, electric cable accessories, equipment, and machinery.
