Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi is providing electricity connection in its area of operations within 7 days of application. The company has made it possible by significantly reducing the steps involved in the connection process while also digitizing them, making the process simpler.
The company has reduced the number of steps involved (from the earlier 7 steps to 3 steps). It has also simplified the documental procedure through acceptance of self-certified declaration along with 2 documents namely ownership/rent proof and identity proof.
