Tata Power has become the first power utility in Mumbai to print dynamic Bharat QR codes on its power supply bills for enabling its consumers to make payments conveniently. Consumers, upon receipt of their bills, can now scan the QR code with any of their mobile banking apps and pay without any hassle.
The bill details including the amount to be paid will be displayed on the mobile app and then the consumer can authorize the payment through his/her debit/credit card within a few seconds and his/her bill will be paid instantaneously.
