Indian Hotels rises on foraying into Bhopal with 'Vivanta Bhopal'

The Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 134.20, up by 1.80 points or 1.36 % from its previous closing of Rs. 132.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 132.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 136.00 and Rs. 132.00 respectively. So far 41268 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 160.60 on 23-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 101.41 on 22-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 140.20 and Rs. 131.95 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 15953.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.27% and 20.64% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company has forayed into Bhopal city with the signing of a new 150-key hotel, Vivanta Bhopal, through a management contract with Genex Hotels. The hotel will comprise 150 guest rooms and is spread over four acres and located near the Van Vihar National Park.
