The company’s profit for the quarter ended June 30, 2011 has declined by 67.85% at Rs 12.82 crore as compared to Rs 39.87 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Its total income has grown by 15.76% at Rs 344.07 crore for the quarter under review from Rs 297.22 crore for the same quarter last year.
Tamil Nadu Newsprint & Papers is engaged into the business of producing newsprint, printing and writing paper. It is among the top three producers of copier paper in the country.
