Bajaj Auto has registered a jump of 31% in total sales to 3,57,883 units in February 2018 against 2,73,513 units in February 2017. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 1,43,860 units, a gain of 26% as compared to 1,14,404 units sold in the corresponding month last year.
The sales of the motorcycles increased by 21% and stood at 2,97,514 units in the month under review against 2,44,958 units in February 2017. The company has reported 111% jump in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 60,369 units as compared to 28,555 units in month of February 2017.
Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
