IDBI Bank becomes first primary dealer to facilitate trading through web-based NDS

30 Jun 2012 Evaluate

IDBI Bank has become the first primary member in the country to enable one of its gilt account holders (GAH) to participate in the primary auction through the web-based negotiated dealing system (NDS) auction module. The module enables all GAHs to bid for Government Securities and T-Bills.

The recently launched RBI’s web-based NDS auction module facilitates internet based access to gilt account holders to directly participate in Primary Auctions of Gilts, conducted by RBI from time to time.

IDBI Bank is the youngest new generation public sector universal bank that rides on a cutting edge core banking Information Technology platform. This enables the Bank to offer personalized banking and financial solutions to its clients through its 980 branches and 1579 ATMs.
