M&M’s Auto Sector registers 19% growth in February sales

Mahindra & Mahindra’s (M&M) Auto Sector has sold 51,127 vehicles in February 2018, as against 42,826 vehicles during February 2017, to register a growth of 19%.

The company’s domestic sales stood at 48,473 vehicles during February 2018, as against 40,526 vehicles during February 2017, registering a growth of 20%. In the Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicles segment, the company sold 828 vehicles for the month, registering growth of 16%. Meanwhile, exports for February 2018 stood at 2,654 vehicles, reporting growth of 15%.

M&M is the flagship company of the Mahindra Group, a multinational conglomerate based in Mumbai, India. Amongst the various business interests of its parent group, the company is mainly involved in the automobile manufacturing. It is one of the leading auto companies of India.
