Tata Power’s TPDDL inks MoU with EDF, Enedis

Tata Power Delhi Distribution (TPDDL), a joint venture (JV) of Tata Power and the Government of Delhi has joined hands with Électricité de France (EDF) and its wholly owned subsidiary Enedis to explore prospective opportunities together, related to Smart Grid Technology in India.

TPDDL and EDF shall be jointly demonstrating to help de-carbonize local energy systems and evaluate Smart Grid Technologies in India, using innovative solutions. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organizations heading towards the goal of electricity development and smart sustainable city.

Tata Power is India’s largest integrated power company with a growing international presence. The company together with its subsidiaries and jointly controlled entities has presence in all the segments of the power sector viz. Fuel Security and Logistics, Generation (thermal, hydro, solar and wind), Transmission, Distribution and Trading.
