United Bank of India has introduced 2 variants of RuPay Credit Card in association with National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) under the name and style ‘United Pragati Card’ and ‘United Suvidha Card’. Presently, the Credit Cards have been launched in India catering to the domestic market. The Bank is the first to launch credit card on RuPay platform.
United Bank of India is one of the 14 major banks which were nationalized on July 19, 1969. After nationalization, the Bank expanded its branch network in a big way and actively participated in the developmental activities, particularly in the rural and semi-urban areas in conformity with the objectives of nationalization.
