Gammon India has signed an Investment cum Shareholders Agreement with Transrail Lighting and Ajanma Holdings pursuant to which they shall collectively invest an amount of up to Rs 15.10 crore into Gammon Transmission (GTL), a wholly owned subsidiary of the company by partly acquiring 90% of the shareholding of GTL from the company and partly through fresh infusion of funds in GTL into which the balance residual Civil EPC business of the company is being transferred through a slump sale and a Scheme of Arrangement.
Gammon India is engaged in construction of buildings, civil engineering, construction of utility projects, and specialized construction activities.
