Futures & Options (F&O) total turnover stood at Rs 13,65,419.39 crore on March 22 and the total number of contracts traded on the day were 1,51,79,907.
Of the total turnover, Index Futures contributed Rs 24,731.31 crore, Stock Futures Rs 53,042.52 crore and Index Options Rs 12,49,289.88 crore, while the contribution of the Stock Options was of Rs 38,355.69 crore.
For the day, the total F&O Put Call ratio stood 0.82, while Index Options Put Call ratio was 0.84 and that of Stock Options was 0.53.
The top five scrips with highest PCR on OI were Ramco Cements (2.63), Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals (1.25), IndusInd Bank (1.17), Andhra Bank (1.15) and Cummins India (1.10).
Among most active underlying, State Bank of India witnessed a contraction of 5.80 million units of Open Interest in the March month futures contract, followed by Reliance Industries witnessing a contraction of 2.93 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, Jubilant Foodworks witnessed a contraction of 0.32 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract, ICICI Bank witnessed a contraction of 1.58 million units of Open Interest in the March month contract and Tata Steel witnessed a contraction of 0.35 million units of Open Interest in the March month future contract.
