Kalpataru Power gains with arm bagging new orders worth Rs 634 crore

Kalpataru Power Transmission is currently trading at Rs. 478.60, up by 2.75 points or 0.58% from its previous closing of Rs. 475.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 471.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 483.00 and Rs. 468.00 respectively. So far 4107 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 535.95 on 12-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 283.10 on 28-Mar-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 483.00 and Rs. 440.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 7344.62 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 59.32%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 24.94% and 15.73% respectively.

Kalpataru Power Transmission’s subsidiary - JMC Projects (India) has secured new orders of Rs 634 crore.  The company has bagged orders for residential and commercial projects in South India totalling Rs 509 crore. The company has also bagged orders for construction of Office Complex for Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation, Bangalore for Rs 125 crore.
