Central Bank of India trades in green on the bourses

Central Bank of India is currently trading at Rs. 71.55, up by 0.80 points or 1.13% from its previous closing of Rs. 70.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 71.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 72.30 and Rs. 71.05 respectively. So far 65539 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 125.00 on 22-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 62.80 on 07-Mar-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 76.35 and Rs. 69.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 18850.72 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 81.91%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.03% and 4.06% respectively.

Public-sector lender, Central Bank of India has revised its deposit rates payable on Foreign Currency Non-Resident (FCNR)-B deposits with effect from April 1, 2018. These rates are revised based on the rates announced by Foreign Exchange Dealers’ Association of India (FEDAI) on March 28, 2018 and is valid till April 30, 2018.

The Bank now offers interest of 3.69% for USD Deposit of 5 Years, 1.86% for GBP Deposit of 5 Years, 0.88% for Euro Deposit of 5 Years, 2.94% for Canadian Dollar Deposit of 5 Years & 3.02% for Australian Dollar Deposit of 5 Years.
