Bajaj Electricals surges on bagging orders worth Rs 2,389.03 crore from PuVVNL

Bajaj Electricals is currently trading at Rs. 624.00, up by 2.80 points or 0.45% from its previous closing of Rs. 621.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 623.65 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 633.00 and Rs. 613.05 respectively. So far 52200 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 663.55 on 04-Apr-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 294.50 on 11-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 634.00 and Rs. 602.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 6346.73 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 63.03%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 14.65% and 22.32% respectively.

Bajaj Electricals’ EPC business unit has bagged orders for six rural electrification projects aggregating to Rs 2,389.03 crore from Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam (PuVVNL) under Saubhagya Yojna of Government of India.

The order is to be completed within 15 months from the date of issue of NOA/LOA.

Bajaj Electricals is an electrical equipments manufacturing company. It is engaged in the manufacturing of domestic appliances such as water heaters, mixers, food processors, microwave ovens, air coolers, steam & dry irons, etc.
