Larsen & Toubro moves up on inking MoU with BEL

Larsen & Toubro is currently trading at Rs. 1353.30, up by 1.90 points or 0.14% from its previous closing of Rs. 1351.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 1352.20 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 1356.00 and Rs. 1347.10 respectively. So far 7187 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 1469.60 on 01-Feb-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 1,108.12 on 30-Jun-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 1359.00 and Rs. 1304.30 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 189407.36 crore.

The Institutions and Non-Institutions held 57.81% and 42.19% stake in the company, respectively.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Electronics (BEL) to cater to the needs of evolving domestic and export markets for defence products and systems.

The MoU seeks to leverage the capabilities of both the firms for meeting the growing requirements of the Indian Armed Forces. The MoU also intends to leverage the well-developed supply chain, vast experience and expertise of BEL and L&T to synergize and enhance exports in the defence sector.

Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $17 billion in revenue.
