Cadbury India launches triangular chocolate - Toblerone

Cadbury India has introduced Toblerone, the triangular chocolate from Kraft Foods in India. This is the third product launch from Kraft following Oreo biscuits and Tang powdered drink. Toblerone is being launched in India in the classic ‘Milk Chocolate’ flavor and is positioned as a ‘gifting’ brand.

The company is going to charge Rs 65 for 50 gms of Toblerone. It is globally known for being unconventional. Toblerone will have restricted distribution and sold through the modern trade outlets primarily.

Cadbury India operates in four categories viz. Chocolate Confectionery, Milk Food Drinks, Candy and Gum category. In the Chocolate Confectionery business, Cadbury has maintained its undisputed leadership over the years. Some of the key brands are Cadbury Dairy Milk, 5 Star, Perk, Éclairs and Celebrations.
