Indian Hotels Company unveils first Taj property in Saudi Arabia: Report

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has reportedly unveiled its first Taj property in Saudi Arabia in the city of Makkah. The company has partnered with Umm Al Qura Development and Construction Company in the King Abdul Aziz Road (KAAR) project, an urban rejuvenation project in the city of Makkah.

This hotel will be the company’s fourth venture in the MENA region. The company manages Taj Dubai located in the Burj Khalifa downtown area. The company is also planning to open two more hotels in Dubai in the coming one to one and a half year.

IHCL and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, mid-market and value segments of the market.
