Indian Hotels Company trades jubilantly on the BSE

Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 146.50, up by 6.65 points or 4.76% from its previous closing of Rs. 139.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 141.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 150.90 and Rs. 140.05 respectively. So far 1017724 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 160.60 on 23-Jan-2018 and a 52 week low of Rs. 101.42 on 22-Aug-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 150.90 and Rs. 132.20 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 17488.05 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.09%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 40.65% and 20.26% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has reportedly unveiled its first Taj property in Saudi Arabia in the city of Makkah. The company has partnered with Umm Al Qura Development and Construction Company in the King Abdul Aziz Road (KAAR) project, an urban rejuvenation project in the city of Makkah.

This hotel will be the company’s fourth venture in the MENA region. The company manages Taj Dubai located in the Burj Khalifa downtown area. The company is also planning to open two more hotels in Dubai in the coming one to one and a half year.

IHCL and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, mid-market and value segments of the market.
