Indian Hume Pipe surges on bagging order worth Rs 578.50 crore

Indian Hume Pipe Company is currently trading at Rs. 362.20, up by 18.20 points or 5.29% from its previous closing of Rs. 344.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 375.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 375.00 and Rs. 361.00 respectively. So far 9,294 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 591.00 on 01-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 285.80 on 26-Mar-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 375.00 and Rs. 329.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 1,757.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 5.72% and 24.36% respectively.

Indian Hume Pipe Company has secured a work order of Rs 578.50 crore from Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit for Kundaliya Multi Village Rural Water Supply Scheme, in Rajgarh District.

Recently, the company had secured a work order of Rs 108.19 crore from Narmada Water Resources,Water Supply & Kalpsar Dept.,Gujarat for Lift Irrigation Project for transmission 100 cusecs of water from Kherva to Visnagar.

Indian Hume Pipe Company is engaged in the construction and maintenance of projects relating to water supply, irrigation, sanitation and sewerage systems, and pipe manufacturing.
