NHPC has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Ministry of Power to generate 25.4 billion units of electricity and revenue of Rs 8,000 crore in 2018/19 fiscal. The generation target under excellent rating has been set as 25.4 billion units against last year’s target of 24 billion units.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
