KP Energy gains on incorporating ‘HGV DTL Transmission Projects’

KP Energy is currently trading at Rs. 295.00, up by 11.00 points or 3.87% from its previous closing of Rs. 284.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 290.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 308.00 and Rs. 284.00 respectively. So far 3,125 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'M' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 370.00 on 06-Sep-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 117.00 on 05-May-2017.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 308.00 and Rs. 240.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 252.23 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 69.44%, while Non-Institutions held 30.56% stake in the company.

KP Energy has incorporated project specific Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for sharing rights of 1200 MW Transmission Line Infrastructure to be constructed under Bop contracts for wind power projects at Kutch in state of Gujarat.

The SPV has been incorporated in name of ‘HGV DTL Transmission Projects’ and registered with Registrar of Companies, Gujarat with effect from April 18, 2018. This SPV is wholly owned subsidiary of the company.

KP Energy provides complete solutions from concept till completion of the project life-cycle of a Wind Project. The activities covered are Siting of Wind-farms, Lands & Permits acquisition, EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning) of Wind Project Infrastructure etc.
