Music Broadcast (MBL) has received an approval for acquisition of Radio Business Undertaking of Ananda Offset, engaged in Radio Broadcasting Business in Kolkata under brand name ‘Friends 91.9 FM’ through Slump Sale subject to Regulatory approvals.
The board of director at its meeting held on April 23, 2018 has approved for the same. This step has been taken to expand Radio City foot print into Kolkata market which was not available at the time of Phase III bidding process.
Music Broadcast, formerly known as Music Broadcast, owns and operates Radio City 91.1FM, which is a frequency modulation (FM) radio brand, and PlanetRadioCity.com, which is a music portal.
