Tata Motors rises on unveiling 'Ultra' range of trucks

Tata Motors is currently trading at Rs. 332.30, up by 3.65 points or 1.11% from its previous closing of Rs. 328.65 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 328.25 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 335.65 and Rs. 326.10 respectively. So far 424791 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 487.00 on 26-May-2017 and a 52 week low of Rs. 324.50 on 26-Mar-2018.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 343.00 and Rs. 326.10 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 95975.46 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 36.37%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 37.92% and 10.57% respectively.

Tata Motors has launched next-gen light commercial vehicles under the brand Ultra. The intermediate and light commercial vehicle (ILCV) ranging from 7-16 tonne capacity will be priced between Rs 10-25 lakh depending on various application and models.

These vehicles are powered by an indigenously-developed 3-litre and 5-litre turbotron series of engines. These engines will have peak power of 125-210 hp. There will be 14 Ultra models having 50 applications.
