Bajaj Auto reports 26% rise in April sales

Bajaj Auto has registered a rise of 26% in total sales to 4,15,168 units in April 2018 against 3,29,800 units in April 2017. The company’s total exports out of the above stood at 1,85,704 units, a gain of 22% as compared to 1,51,913 units sold in the corresponding month last year.

The sales of the motorcycles increased by 19% and stood at 3,49,617 units in the month under review against 2,93,932 units in April 2017. The company has reported 83% jump in commercial vehicles sales, which stood at 65,551 units as compared to 35,868 units in month of April 2017.

Bajaj Auto is world’s fourth largest two and three-wheeler manufacturer. Bajaj Auto has three plants in all, two at Waluj and Chakan in Maharashtra and one plant at Pant Nagar in Uttaranchal.
