Lemon Tree Hotels opens new hotel in Srinagar

Lemon Tree Hotels has opened a hotel under brand name ‘Lemon Tree Hotel’ in Srinagar. This midscale hotel is located just 30 minutes from the airport and offers 37 stylish and spacious rooms with traditional Kashmiri style interiors. It also houses a multi-cuisine coffee shop - Citrus Cafe, a Snack lounge and activity area, besides a soon-to-open fitness center and a rejuvenating spa- Fresco.

With opening of this hotel, the company presently operates 4,907 rooms in 49 hotels (including managed hotels) across 31 cities and plans to operate 78 hotels with 8,152 rooms, across 54 cities by FY 2021.

Lemon Tree Hotels is India’s largest hotel chain in the mid-priced hotel sector, and the third largest overall, on the basis of controlling interest in owned and leased rooms, as of June 30, 2017.
