Bharat Bijlee has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

The company has reported over 7-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 48.86 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 6.71 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company decreased by 11.03% at Rs 229.89 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 258.40 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted over 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 60.97 crore as compared to Rs 14.42 crore for the previous year. Total income of company increased by 4.45% at Rs 810.98 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 776.43 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
