Canara Bank has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.
The bank has reported a net loss of Rs 4,859.77 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to net profit of Rs 214.18 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank decreased by 10.35% at Rs 11,555.11 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 12,889.20 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.
For the year ended March 31, 2018, the bank has posted a net loss of Rs 4,222.24 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1,121.92 crore for the previous year. Total income of bank decreased marginally by 1.53% at Rs 48,194.94 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 48,942.04 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
