Vardhman Textiles reports marginal rise in Q4 consolidated net profit

Vardhman Textiles has reported results for the fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2018.

Vardhman Textiles has reported a fall of 15.81% in its net profit at Rs 159.06 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 188.92 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. The total income of the company decreased by 8.16% at Rs 1478.62 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1609.92 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2017.

On consolidated basis, the company has reported a marginal rise of 3.39% in its net profit at Rs 160.79 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2018 as compared to Rs 155.52 crore for the corresponding quarter in the FY17. However, total consolidated income of the company decreased by 5.82% at Rs 1570.91 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1667.91 crore for the same quarter ended previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, the company has posted a fall of 45.51% in its net profit at Rs 545.76 crore as compared to Rs 1001.59 crore for the previous year. Total income of company decreased by 4.48% at Rs 6036.43 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6319.31 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.

For the year ended March 31, 2018, on the consolidated basis, the company has posted fall of 39.95% in its net profit at Rs 574.93 crore as compared to Rs 957.42 crore for the previous year. Total income of company decreased by 2.10% at Rs 6445.62 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 6583.81 crore for the year ended March 31, 2017.
